Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park organizes the national programme of the world’s largest green business ideas competition “ClimateLaunchpad” in Lithuania. Everyone concerned in climate change and seeking to turn their green business ideas into a successful start-up and gain significant business development experience are invited to participate in the competition. This year, the entire programme – from the selection of ideas to the international final – will take place online, making participation accessible to everyone!

Everyone who registers for the “ClimateLaunchpad” competition will have access to an online course where they will be able to learn the basics of green business creation on their own. Authors of selected ideas will be invited to participate in a 5-week training programme within a virtual training camp (Boot Camp) with lecturer Elena Messiou that will begin on June 2-4.

Elena Messiou is a lecturer in innovation, entrepreneurship and management skills, a start-up coach with work experience in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. During the bootcamp, Elena will help you identify the product / service market, conduct market research correctly, explain how to create value for the customer, calculate key financial ratios, assess the climate impact of your product, and present your idea.

After Boot Camp, there will be intensive training sessions, during which participants will test their business model with customers and improve the presentation of the business idea. All programme participants will present their ideas on July 9th. at the final event. The three best Lithuanian teams will win the right to represent the country in the European final, and after successfully appearing in it – to present their business idea at the “Global Grand Final” event.
