The study process will be carried out remotely from 1 February 2021 to 4 April 2021 (spring vacation).

Students can have external internships as planned in the study schedule, provided the host organisation does not object and ensures the conditions for persons’ mobility; safe distance, health safety, hygiene, and offers necessary personal protective equipment, as established by the State-Level Emergency State Operations Manual.

Deans of the faculties/heads of the departments/academy/centre are allowed to apply exceptions from 1 February. For justifiable reasons, a permission can be given to organising laboratory and other practical study activities for which specific equipment in the KUAS premises is required and the assessments of the study courses (modules) that cannot be organised remotely.  Besides, the activities necessary for the preparation of students’ final theses can also be arranged considering the following requirements:

  1. Individuals must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) completely covering their nose and mouth (face masks, respirators, etc.). PPE may not be worn by people with disabilities who, due to their state of health, cannot wear masks, or in case they may be detrimental to a person’s state of health (in this case, it is recommended to wear a face shield). PPE may not be worn by those who cannot wear it because of the nature of their work.
  2. It must be ensured that persons who participate in study activities do not directly contact other staff members whose duties do not include implementing the study activities or other outsiders.
  3. A distance of at least 2 meters must be maintained among persons participating in the study activities.
  4. It is required to comply with other conditions, such as persons’ mobility, retaining safe distance, health safety, hygiene, and the provision with the necessary personal protective equipment, as established by the State-Level Emergency State Operations Manual.
