The upcoming holidays inspire us to do something good and meaningful. Students of the Centre of Languages of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences implement the project of sustainable development “Zero Waste”. During the project, members of the Kaunas University of Applied Sciences community are invited to bring items they don’t use anymore and donate them to people in need or exchange them for another item they need.

December 15th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the „Chill Zone“ (Pramonės ave. 20, Kaunas), students will be waiting for community members of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences who want to contribute to the campaign and, of course, earn extra karma points.

Goals of the “Zero Waste” project:

    • to donate unnecessary things,
    • to restore them for a second life,
    • to reduce environmental pollution.

Students of English for Public Relations study programme will welcome everyone with hot tea and delicious cookies. A good mood will be created with Christmas decorations and festive music. Things collected during the campaign will be sorted and donated to people in need.
