Head of the Language Centre of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) Ieva Brazauskaitė-Zubavičienė and lecturer Asta Pukienė strengthened the internationality of the Kauno kolegija HEI at international conferences in Italy and Spain.
On 20–21 June, A. Pukienė, a lecturer at the Language Centre, participated in the international conference “The Future of Education” in Florence, Italy. At the conference, which gathered more than 200 participants from 38 countries, A. Pukienė gave a presentation on typical language mistakes in tourist texts and ways to avoid them with the help of artificial intelligence. This conference provided an excellent opportunity for participants from various institutions, companies and organisations to get to know each other and to share knowledge, experience and insights about the conducted research and applied innovations. The lecturer not only participated in the conference but also made useful connections with colleagues from other countries, and discussed possible forms of cooperation and future project opportunities.
On 1–3 July, the Head of the Language Centre I. Brazauskaitė-Zubavičienė and lecturer A. Pukienė participated in the international conference “EDUlearn” in Palma, Spain, where more than 800 participants from 80 countries of the world gave presentations. The lecturers shared their experience and research in solving linguistic issues and the use of modern technologies. I. Brazauskaitė-Zubavičienė moderated the section devoted to the current affairs of languages and technologies at the “Foreign Languages Technologies”. “EDUlearn” conference is a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience with other professionals of educational institutions, and to promote international cooperation, research and the implementation of innovations in various fields.
