Kaunas University of Applied Sciences took second place in the evaluation of students and studies (27.5 out of 35 points). In this case, it was assessed how many of the most talented graduates, in other words, those who passed the state exams with a score of 86 to 100, chose a specific university, as well as, based on the data of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education, the lowest score per student which have been admitted both through the LAMA BPO and institutional admission, which already takes place in the universities.

In terms of the evaluation of the academic staff of the university and the prosperity of the study base, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences also took second place (8.4 out of 15 points). In this case, the depth of the outsourced consultative practice and applied science / arts activities in monetary terms carried out by each university were assessed; as well as the most significant awards lecturers have received in the last decade. The numbers of lecturers per student, young lecturers (under the age of 35), as well as science and art doctors were also considered.

Considering the added value created by alumni and the evaluations of employers, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences took third place and scored 30.7 out of a possible 35 points. This criterion consists of two parts – the data of the sociological survey of employers and the data of the Lithuanian Employment Service, as for how the university alumni succeeded in getting a job after 9 months when they graduated.
