On November 28, 2024, the Faculty of Business of the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, together with its partners, invites the business and academic communities to the annual international business and science forum “Development of the Circular Economy in Lithuania and the EU”. This event, held for the fifth consecutive year, will focus on the implementation of circular economy principles and their impact on business and society.

Why should business representatives attend?

This forum offers a unique opportunity to understand how the legislation and strategies adopted by the EU and Lithuania, such as the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan, are transforming the reality of business and society. For businesses, this is a chance to explore the latest trends that can help them become more sustainable, manage resources more efficiently, and discover new development pathways. Topics such as waste prevention, recycling, and resource efficiency will be discussed, offering innovative solutions that not only reduce environmental impact but also enhance competitiveness.

Benefit for the academic community

For the academic community—including students, lecturers, researchers, and administrative staff—this forum serves as a vital platform for deepening knowledge, exchanging ideas, sharing research results, and establishing connections with business representatives striving for sustainable solutions. The forum will showcase real examples of circular economy implementation and their benefits, while the planned workshops will help researchers refine new research directions related to promoting sustainability.

The event will be held in English, in person, with an option for online streaming. Participation is free, but registration is required.
