On september 28th–october 9th, 2020, lectures for Kaunas University of Applied Sciences Multimedia Technology, Logistics and Sales and Marketing students were carried out by an invitational lecturer from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA – Dr. Dianne Helen Welsh. During the lectures students generated business ideas, carried out the study of business feasibility, analyzed potential business ideas and examined new product and service factors.

During her career, Dr. D. H. Welsh has written seven books “Global Entrepreneurship”, “Case Studies in Global Entrepreneurship”, etc.) and has published more than 150 articles on entrepreneurship. She is a certified business consultant that has provided consultations to organizations, such as “Hewlett Packard”, “Gymboree” and others. Dr. D. H. Welsh has been recognized as an entrepreneurial research fellow, honored for her achievements in science and education.

Invitational lecturers heighten the study internationality and lectures become more diverse and interesting”, – says Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Technologies Dr. Irma Spūdytė.

A connection with Dr. D. H. Welsh sparked last year when the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Technologies was visiting the University of Venda in South Africa.
