The charitable Christmas fairWhite Angel”, which has been bringing together the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) community since 2005, is returning and will be open from 12:00 to 16:00 on 12th December. It will be open to everyone who wants to not only purchase unique handmade products but also contribute to a noble cause.

As every year, the funds raised will be donated to charity – to members of the Kauno kolegija HEI community who are seriously ill or facing other difficulties, so each purchase is a gift not only to yourself but also to those who need help the most.

Sigrida Eimutė, the chairwoman of the Kauno kolegija HEI Trade Union, which is organising the event, points out that theWhite Angelfair strengthens one of the Kauno kolegija HEI’s values ​​– Sense of Community – and shapes the organisation’s culture.

‘This charitable Christmas fair is not only a fun pastime, but also an opportunity to do good deeds, support a creative community, and discover something new. Such initiatives strengthen relationships between employees, encourage them to feel part of the community, and form the culture of a socially responsible organisation that values ​​mutual assistance,shares S. Eimutė.

Fair participants will be able to purchase unique handmade products: textiles, leather, ceramics and woodwork, jewellery, scented candles, postcards, pictures, various Christmas decorations and other handicrafts, as well as various delicacies, such as honey, chocolates, pastries or theFood of the Godsdrink.

Students from the Departments of Nursing and Cosmetology of the Faculty of Medicine participating in the fair will invite you to indulge in beauty treatments and consult on health issues.

‘After visiting the fair, we invite you to take your time and enjoy cosy conversations with colleagues over a cup of hot tea, and delicious snacks,says S. Eimutė.
