In November, 2017 KAUNO KOLEGIJA / University of Applied Sciences (KK) organizes in cooperation with Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania) the 3rd International Contest “Food Technologist 2017”. Students from Lithuania and abroad, who study food technology, safety or other study programme related to food, are invited to participate.
The contest will include two stages. In the first one, on November 17th the participants will take test in a remote way. The tasks of the test will relate to issues on microbiology, mathematics, food safety and quality, physics, engineering. Teams demonstrating the best results will be invited to participate in the second stage, which will be held February 15th, 2018 in KK (Pramonės av. 22, Kaunas). The participants of the contest will have to accomplish practical tasks in the laboratories of food product technology, sensory analysis, microbiology and food quality testing.
The deadline for registration is November 10th, 2017. Registration is available for the students‘ teams which consist of three individuals.
