On 17–21 March, Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) Faculty of Arts and Education Language Centre lecturer Jūratė Bauraitė visited the University of Tirana, Albania, where she gave lectures and developed opportunities for international cooperation.

This visit not only strengthens academic ties between Kauno kolegija HEI and the University of Tirana but also contributes to the development of international projects and research. Since both institutions are members of the European University Alliance UNINOVIS, the cooperation provides even more opportunities for academic mobility and the promotion of internationality among students.

Also, from 2025, students of the English for Public Relations study programme will have the opportunity to obtain a double diploma, which increases competitiveness in the international labour market and provides a broader academic experience. During the visit, general aspects of improving study programmes, promoting academic mobility, and exchanging good practices between lecturers and students were discussed.

Such international visits not only develop linguistic and cultural skills but also allow for a better understanding of the education systems of different countries. International relations strengthen the Kauno kolegija HEI’s position in the global academic space, open up new perspectives for cooperation, and contribute to the improvement of the quality of the study process.
