On November 21 and 22, Head of the International Relations Unit Povilas Beseckas, Senior Specialist of the Projects Management Unit Vytautė Giedraitienė and International Coordinator of the Faculty of Technologies Viktorija Gudauskaitė participated in the traditional event Baltic Info Days organised by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation. This event brought together representatives of higher education institutions from the Baltic countries – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, national agencies and the European Commission. The event focused on international cooperation, sharing experiences and discussing opportunities for cooperation in higher education institutions.

The theme of this year’s event is strengthening international mobility, centralised activities and higher education partnerships. Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) representatives gathered knowledge and ideas for the preparation of new partnerships, centralised activity projects such as Jean Monnet, Innovation Alliances, delved into higher education capacity building activities, developed competences in the preparation of higher quality applications and improved knowledge of international activities aimed at internationalisation of higher education.

Employees of Kauno kolegija HEI also participated in the presentation of the funding programmes of the Swedish Institute and the Nordic Council of Ministers, during which they talked about the Baltic Sea Neighborhood Programme, opportunities to cooperate with Swedish institutions, and the Nordic Institutions and Organizations Cooperation Programme (NOIM).

It is expected that the acquired knowledge will help to smoothly implement the activities of the UNINOVIS alliance, strengthen cooperation with partner countries and open new opportunities for partnerships with Mediterranean and Northern European countries.
