Organized by Kaunas University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and the University of Iceland, the scientific-practical conference “Normal labour and birth: midwifery practice in Lithuania and Iceland” is open for the participants.

The moderators of the conference are Alina Liepinaitienė, a lecturer at the Nursing Department, Faculty of Medicine, and Olof Asta Olafsdottir, a professor and midwife at the University of Iceland.
The event is for midwives, all interested teachers, and midwifery students.
All conference presentations and publications will be read in English.
Registration of participants is available until April 5th.
Conference speakers and participants who have participated throughout this event will be issued electronic certificates (sent by e-mail provided during registration), approved by the Director of the Center of Excellence of Healthcare and Pharmacy Specialists. 8 hours suitable for marking in-service training are approved.
