31 January an application planning meeting was held for the “Banister II” project, which aims to spread sensory integration knowledge in the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. Two lecturers from Rehabilitation Department of Kauno Kolegija Higher Education Institution Giedrė Sasnauskienė and Evelina Lamsodienė already started basic and practical training in the field of Sensory Integration. Therefore, the main goal of this project is to strengthen the understanding and knowledge of sensory integration in the practical work of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Several countries participated in the preparation of “Banister II” project, whose representatives participated in the application planning process: Betina Rasmussen (Copenhagen College, Denmark), Marie Holmlund (Sweden) occupational therapist, Hanna-Maria Põldma (Tallinn College, Estonia) and Helena Tigerstedt (Finland) occupational therapist. P. Beseckas, project coordinator of the Faculty of Medicine of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, M. Gintilienė, head of the Rehabilitation Department, lecturers: E. Lamsodienė, D. Baltaduonienė and G. Sasnauskienė also participated in this project discussion.
