An art fair to support Ukraine was held in the courtyard of Vilnius Academy of Arts Faculty in Kaunas on Saturday. Despite the fact that the day of the fair was both sunny and windy, this weather didn’t stop either the artists or the visitors, and they actively participated in the fair from morning to evening, sharing unity and a sense of community.

On the day of the fair, more than 9 thousand euros were raised, which were donated directly to the non-governmental organization “Blue and Yellow” supporting Ukraine and the National Volunteer Aid Coordination Center “Strong Together”, as well as to students from Ukraine.

The organizers of the fair – Vilnius Academy of Arts Faculty in Kaunas, Academy of Arts of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences, Kaunas Department of Lithuanian Artists’ Association, Kaunas Artists’ House sincerely thank the artists, volunteers, the community, as well as the sponsors of the fair: “Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022”, “TAU” radio, “Al Cantuccio” restaurant, performers of Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Conservatoire, “GEm duo” group, Vygintas Orlovas.
