On 23 March, Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) representatives participated in the International Education Fair New Delhi fair held in New Delhi (India). The Director of the Kauno kolegija HEI, Dr Andrius Brusokas, Vice Director for Research and Development, Dr Inga Stravinskienė, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technologies, Dr Tomas Makaveckas, and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Albertas Juodeika, together with the Head of the International Relations Unit, Povilas Beseckas, met with potential Kauno kolegija HEI students at this fair, presented them with the opportunities and advantages of studying at the Kauno kolegija HEI, and answered any questions they had.

‘During the exhibition, the greatest interest was shown in the study programmes in the fields of engineering and healthcare, but there was also no shortage of attention to business and art studies. The active interest of the exhibition visitors in the study programmes offered by Kauno kolegija HEI and the life and career opportunities in Lithuania was the result we were waiting for and which provides even more motivation to increase the awareness of the study programmes offered,’ shares P. Beseckas, Head of the International Relations Unit.

‘We are the only higher education institution from Lithuania, presenting Kauno kolegija HEI for the first time at this prestigious fair among many universities around the world. We are pleased to establish new relationships and receive great interest from the international student community and the organisers of the fair,’ says A. Juodeika, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education.

P. Beseckas adds that although Lithuania is terra incognita for most fair participants, it is nevertheless a potentially attractive country for studies: ‘Kauno kolegija HEI participated in this exhibition in New Delhi for the first time and the visit was coordinated with participation in the APAIE conference and meetings with partner universities in India.’
