A lecturer from Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution took part as a jury member at the 4^th Nordic Massage Championship, held on 3–4 October at P. Stradins Medical College, University of Latvia. The event was organised in cooperation with the International Massage Association.

Dr Vaida Borkertienė, an assistant in the Department of Rehabilitation (Faculty of Medicine, Kauno kolegija), was invited to join the panel of judges.

Together with fellow jury members from Denmark, Tartu, Latvia, and Hungary, Dr V. Borkertienė assessed competitors in both the classical massage and freestyle massage categories. According to the competition rules, the championship was spread across two days.

On the first day, students showcased their skills and knowledge; on the second, professional massage therapists took the stage. Participants competed in both classical and freestyle massage disciplines on each day of the event.
