Kaunas University of Applied Sciences International Week is back – the event spanning from March 29th to April 2nd will bring the academic community and business world representatives back together again.
The event is open to academic and non-academic staff involved in internationalisation. The academic staff is welcome to hold online classes according to their field of expertise. We kindly ask you to make presentations promoting student exchange opportunities at your institution. By attending our International Week, you will get the latest insights of what is new at Kaunas University of Applied Sciences and what are the future development perspectives. This is a great opportunity for generating new ideas for joint activities in projects, networking, further cooperation and exchange!

Annotation: Person is not always the inventor and creates products himself. A lot of technology is taken from nature. Next time, we don’t think that without a human-observed bird’s flight, there might not be planes today. So which technologies has man borrowed from nature? And why is it important to preserve nature.

Annotation: The shift towards remote learning caused by the global pandemic has presented many new challenges and threats for teachers. This workshop will cover the most important cyber security tools and best practices for education specialists, with live examples of possible attacks and practical exercises on how to defend against them.

- Examples of individual and organizational involvement into volunteering activities.
Panel participants: students and staff who have experience in volunteering and/or organization of volunteering activities. Partners from Higher Education Institutions will be asked to share experience as well as our own teachers and students.
Panel discussion will be concluded with discussion on new initiatives – projects, applied research involving both students and teachers.
