On 26–27 September the international scientific-practical conference Health, Environment and Sustainable Development: Interdisciplinary Approach organised by the Faculty of Medicine of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) will be held, the purpose of which is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in current affairs of medicine, public health, and social sciences. This conference is being organised for the fifth time.
Conference objective
HESDIA aims to serve as a pivotal platform for the exchange of the most recent innovations and research, grounded in core scientific principles that span from medicine to technology developments. The conference not only emphasises the scientific evaluation of new research findings but also focuses on their clinical and applied applications, thus bridging the gap between theory and practice in a real-world setting.
HESDIA 2024 endeavours to:

- Facilitate dialogue concerning the pivotal role of science, practice, and technology in health care.
- Highlight exemplary instances of evidence-based practice and methods.

Scope and themes
The conference seeks submissions that contribute to a broad understanding of how interdisciplinary approaches can be applied to solve pressing issues related to health, the environment, and sustainable development.
HESDIA encourages the submission of original research, comprehensive reviews, and case studies that provide new insights or innovative perspectives in the following areas (but not limited to):
