We are pleased to inform that the institutional call for internal projects “Applied Scientific Research, Experimental Development and Art Projects 2025 (R&D and Art)” will be launched soon.

We invite all researchers of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) to start generating ideas for future R&D and Art outputs, which must be novel; creative; uncertain; systematic; transferable and/or reproducible (according to the Frascati Manual).

This year the terms of the call – priorities and requirements – will change slightly.

The main changes are as follows:

    • The proposal must clearly state what priority area of Kauno kolegija the prepared project reflects and to which study field(s) the predicted R&D outcomes are assigned.
    • Priority is given to interdisciplinarity and/or  projects of research groups: the formation of the project working groups is based on research groups and subgroups, in connection with the activity plans of the research groups. Social partners from Lithuania and foreign countries can be invited to the research group.
    • The project implementation period – up to three years. Activities and budget must be planned for each year.
    • The project will provide the opportunity to purchase scientific infrastructure.
    • The costs for wages cannot exceed 50 percent of the total project value.
    • Priority indicators of the projects are R&D activities and Arts.
    • Priority is also given to ongoing projects which have received funding in the past and have already generated significant R&D and Art indicators. In such cases, funding is needed for the further development of the generated results of R&D and Art.

More information will be announced in January 2025.
