The International Week 2025, taking place at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) on April 9–11, invites students, lecturers, and staff to break away from traditional thinking and engage in the ideaPoint Creativity Workshops.
When people unite, ideas are born that have the power to change the world. International collaboration has made it possible to develop projects that seemed impossible just a few decades ago. For example, CERN scientists from different countries jointly discovered the Higgs boson, the International Space Station (ISS) is a shared achievement of more than 15 nations, and Greenpeace campaigns influence government policies worldwide. The greatest breakthroughs occur when knowledge, talent, and resources are combined without borders. In this creative workshop, we will explore how collective efforts can drive innovation and change.
During the ideaPoint Creativity Workshops, we invite you not only to generate ideas – but also to play with them, develop initiatives, gather like-minded people, and experiment. This is a space where new experiences are born – without pressure, without rigid frameworks, but with plenty of inspiration and a touch of creative chaos.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose one of four relevant thematic directions – which will be explored in international teams.
Sustainability: the Ultimate Hack
Sustainability is not just a trendy word – it is the foundation of our future. In this theme, we will explore innovative solutions that connect science, business, and technology to achieve long-term environmental impact. Can we create a world where growth and responsibility go hand in hand?
Data: the Secret Sauce of the Future
Data already drives our decisions – but true leaders are those who know how to interpret and apply it effectively. In this theme, we will explore the significance of data and how it can support better decision-making. We will discuss data usage across different fields, seek solutions that require in-depth analysis, and examine how technology can contribute to change in business and science.
World Wide Web of People & Ideas
Ideas and change emerge where diverse experiences, disciplines, and visions intersect. Cross-sector, cross-country, and cross-organisational collaboration is no longer just an opportunity – it is a necessity in tackling complex global challenges. In this workshop, we will explore ways to connect knowledge, inspire one another, and drive meaningful change through international partnerships.
Well-being in the World of Chaos (Short creativity workshops for participants of the International Scientific Conference “Business and Technology Conference 2025”)
Rapid technological advancement, information overload, and unpredictable crises create an increasingly stressful reality. How can we maintain a balance between productivity and psychological well-being? These creative workshops will introduce science-based methods to stay calm, productive, and creative even in the midst of chaos.
Whether we discuss sustainability, data, global collaboration, or psychological and physical well-being, each topic will encourage bold action, unconventional thinking, and the discovery of new opportunities.
The creativity workshops will be conducted in English. Registration is open until 28 March. You can find the workshop programme here.
