Project Management | 6 | Spring | During the course, students are introduced to the basics of project management, key project management methods, and analyze project proposals and case studies. Based on a generated project idea, they complete a project proposal or create a project „Canva“. Using MS Project or other online project management tools (such as https://www.projectmanager.com, https://monday.com), students learn to create Gantt charts and manage project activities. |
Human Resource Management | 6 | Spring | In this course, students are introduced to the key principles of human resource organization and management, its theoretical foundations, and practical applications. The topics covered include the significance and essence of human resource management, the interaction between organizational culture and staff policies, the HR management environment, and the development of HR management over time. The course thoroughly examines staff organization activities such as job analysis, workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, evaluation, training, and professional development. The management component delves into leadership and motivation, highlighting the importance of these activities in the HR management process, its characteristics, and practical application. |
Corporate Social Responsibility | 3 | Spring | This course provides students with the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in corporate social responsibility (CSR), helping them to understand the principles of socially responsible practices and develop practical abilities in addressing sustainability issues at a professional level. The following topics are explored in detail: concepts of corporate social responsibility, factors and stakeholders promoting CSR, the implementation of CSR, related challenges, sustainable development goals in the context of CSR, as well as criteria for evaluating and recognizing CSR efforts. |
