On 2–5 October in Heraklion (Crete) the 28th international congress of the European Association of Public Dental Health (EADPH) network “From plate to profit; the Commercial Determinants of Health”, during which Dr Rasa Tamulienė and Daiva Mačiulienė, the Head of the Department of Oral Health presented the results of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution’s internal science project “Development of Oral Hygiene and Nutritional Habits Development Programme Based on the Use of a App for Preschool and Primary school students”. A report on “Parents’ Perspectives on Oral Hygiene Knowledge and Behavior of their Young Children” was presented during the congress.
The goal of EADPH is the promotion of public dental health, which the association defines as the science and art of preventing oral diseases, fostering oral health and improving the quality of life through organised public efforts.
EADPH organises an annual meeting where researchers, practitioners and policymakers exchange information. The meetings consist of plenary sessions with invited keynote speakers and presentations.
