Head of Department of Management and Quality of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution Dr Inga Stravinskienė was elected as Vice-Chair of the Council of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).

“I value this as a great opportunity to contribute to the development of the culture of study quality, the formation of external quality assurance policy at the national level. I thank the honourable Chair of the Council and other members of the Council for the trust,” says Dr I. Stravinskienė.

The Council of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (further on – the Council) is the collective governing body composed of 11 members. 1 member for a period of 6 years is delegated by the Committee for Education and Science by the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, 1 member for a period of 6 years is delegated by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, 2 members for a period of 6 years are delegated by the organisations representing universities, 2 members for a period of 6 years are delegated by the organisations representing colleges, 4 members for a period of 6 years are delegated by the organisations representing the social partners, 1 member for a period of 2 years is delegated by the organisation representing the students.

The composition of the Council of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education is as follows (approved by the Order No. V-2156 of 23 February 2023 of the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania):

    • Prof. dr. Kęstutis Petrikonis – the member delegated by the Lithuanian University Directors‘ Conference; Chair of the Council (member of the Council for six years; Chair of the Council for a three-year term); 
    • Dr. Inga Stravinskienė – member delegated by the Directors‘ Conference of Lithuanian Colleges of Higher Education; Vice-Chair of the Council (member of the Council for six years; Vice-Chair of the Council for a three-year term); 
    • Mr. Danukas Arlauskas – member delegated by the Lithuanian Employers’ Confederation (six-year term);
    • Ms. Daiva Bartninkienė – member delegated by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists  (six-year term); 
    • Prof. Dr. Liudvika Leišytė – member delegated by the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania (Seimas)  (six-year term);
    • Ms. Daina Lukošiūnienė – member delegated by the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania  (six-year term); 
    • Dr. Vyda Mozūriūnienė – member delegated by the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts  (six-year term);
    • Ms. Rūta Skyrienė – member delegated by the Investors’ Forum Association  (six-year term);
    • Prof. Dr. Marius Pranas Šaliamoras – member delegated by the Conference of Rectors of Lithuanian Universities (six-year term);
    • Mr. Paulius Vaitiekus – member delegated by the Lithuanian Union of Students (two-year term);
    • Mr. Nerijus Varnas – member delegated by the Rectors’ Conference of Lithuanian University Colleges  (six-year term).
