Yesterday, the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) community marked the beginning of the new academic year. The guests of the celebration were awaited by the performance of the rock band JAUTÌ, outdoor games, food trucks and other entertainment. Meanwhile, the freshmen who will soon start their studies at Kauno kolegija HEI this year got to know the Director, Vice Directors, and Deans of the faculties, who wished the students to be active, to use all the opportunities provided by their studies and to nurture the friendships established during their studies.

‘It is extremely nice to start the new academic year and to congratulate you on this occasion in the premises of Kauno kolegija HEI, in a new format event. This year is really impressive for Kauno kolegija HEI – thanks to you, dear freshmen, we are the most popular higher education institution in Kaunas,’ the Director Dr Andrius Brusokas thanked freshmen who chose Kauno kolegija HEI.

He encouraged both freshmen and the entire community to embark on discoveries, turning challenges into opportunities and opportunities into discoveries: ‘I wish you to overcome all challenges, maintain positivity, dream and discover the opportunities provided not only by Kauno kolegija HEI but also by the city of Kaunas.’

Dr A. Brusokas reminded that the Kauno kolegija HEI community increased this year not only with freshmen but also with the Alytus Faculty, which started operating in July after the reorganisation of the Alytus kolegija Higher Education Institution.

‘With this year’s campaign, we encouraged everyone to find their passion, so I wish you to not stop and go further after taking the first step, to discover what gives you wings. Fly while dreaming and pursuing your dreams,’ the Director of Kauno kolegija HEI encouraged students to reveal their potential during the upcoming study years.

‘Dear lecturers, in the education system we feel changes every year, but I believe in your professionalism, and your high competencies and I wish to boldly accept challenges. Set goals and let’s move and work purposefully. Have a good next academic year!’ said Dr A. Brusokas.
