Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution as an active member of the UNINOVIS European university alliance, continues joint initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation in science and the arts, promoting researcher mobility, and fostering the development of new ideas. UNINOVIS unites higher education institutions across Europe that share a common goal – to encourage innovation, applied scientific research, and interdisciplinary collaboration at the international level.
One of the alliance’s key priorities is research internships, which provide institutions with the opportunity to host international researchers, exchange experience, and develop joint scientific and artistic projects. These activities enhance Kauno kolegija’s international visibility and strengthen its role as a leading applied sciences institution within the global academic community.
Kauno kolegija invites its researchers and lecturers who are interested in hosting UNINOVIS alliance researchers for research internships to submit their applications.
The application should introduce the applicant’s field of activity, research themes, and expectations for the incoming researcher. Kauno kolegija ensures full organisational support throughout the internship, while the content and focus are developed collaboratively with the visiting researcher.
Internship period: until 30 June 2026
Internship duration: from 3 weeks to 3 months
Application deadline: 25 October 2025
After November 1st, 2025, information about the selected research internship opportunities within the UNINOVIS alliance will be published both on the UNINOVIS website and on the websites of all UNINOVIS alliance partners, including Kauno kolegija.
