The first week of December started actively in the Rehabilitation department at the Faculty of Medicine, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (KUAS). As one of our strategic partners is Tartu Health Care College, the group of 27 students from Physiotherapy and Massage study programmes came for a short intensive programme visit on 4-6 of December. They were accompanied by the lecture of Massage Laura Lannusalu, who was met by Milda Gintilienė, the head of Rehabilitation department at KUAS.

All the visiting group participated in two working days programme organised by Rehabilitation department with the different workshop topics: “Myofascial release techniques: flossing, cupping”, presented by Tadas Mikelionis; “Hand massage”, presented by Diana Nemčiauskienė; “Massage techniques after amputation”, presented by Vaida Borkertienė and

“E-Link – the use in rehabilitation field”, presented by Aistė Pranskaitytė-Bielevičienė and Giedrė Sasnauskienė.

The training ended with a visit to Vilijampolės social care home, where our guests were welcomed by Evelina Lamsodienė and the training ended with a visit to social care home Vija, where our guests were welcomed by Evelina Lamsodienė, occupational therapist, and two physiotherapists Rokas Kairiūkštis and Justinas Laurinavičius.
