We invite you to visit the virtual exhibition of the first-year students of the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) of Arts and Education, Academy of Arts, Object Art study programme, which presents works created during the study subject Basics of Composition and Design (lecturer: Sigita Grabliauskaitė).

In their works, the first-year students, using the principles of creating a square and rosette composition, sought to highlight the selected object and find the colour and tonal solutions that best suit it or, on the contrary, destroy it. When creating the works, the students were inspired by the works of Maurice Cornelius Escher, Hunter Wasser, Victor Vasarely, Vincent van Gogh, Kazys Varnelis, and Stasys Krasauskas.

Sigita Grabliauskaitė, Coordinator of the Object Art study programme, says that being interested in and analysing the works of other artists inspires young artists to experiment in search of their unique creative style.
