On 12 February, representatives of Tartu Health Care College (Estonia) visited the Departments of Rehabilitation and Medical Technology and Dietetics of the Faculty of Medicine, who presented the students with opportunities for postgraduate studies in physiotherapy and radiology in Estonia.
During the visit, meetings were also held with lecturers at the departments, during which further cooperation opportunities, areas of joint research and projects, opportunities for exchange of students of bachelor’s degree programmes and opportunities for professional practice for Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) students in Estonia were discussed.
Kauno kolegija HEI and Tartu Health Care College have been cooperating for several years. Both institutions are interested in providing students with as many professional development opportunities as possible, helping them integrate and providing all kinds of assistance.
Tartu Health Care College offers students modern learning conditions and high-level technological equipment for all fields of study. Tartu Health Care College students learn skills in laboratories that simulate patient wards in a hospital environment, including a variety of teaching and learning aids in the form of phantoms, and medical and hospital equipment, helping students adapt to a real work environment.
