There is only one day left until the international scientific conference “Art, Design, Languages, Education and Social Work: Innovations in Theory and Practice” (ADLES), organised by the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) on 5 December, which will feature presentations and discussions on the use of the latest technologies and innovations in design, art, languages, education and social work studies and professional activities.

The conference chairpersons are Dr Marijana Prodanović and Dr Jeffrey Michael Taylor, associate professors of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija HEI.

The plenary session of the conference will be held remotely with a presentation entitled “The Role of Variation in Cultivating Multilingualism” by Prof. Dr Marina Tzakosta, University of Crete (Greece). The programme will be continued by Dr. Tomasz Kasprzak, University of Silesia (Poland) with a presentation entitled “Persons with Deafblindness and Employment: Implications for Social Work and Rehabilitation”. Assoc. Prof. Dr Daniela Hasa, University of Tirana (Albania) will give a presentation entitled “The Use of ChatGPT and its Implications in the Albanian and Lithuanian Context”. The plenary session will be concluded by Gleb Divov, Minister of Culture and Innovation of the Independent Republic of Užupis (Lithuania), with a presentation entitled “Unlimited Potential of Creative Use of ArtTech/CultureTech Innovations”.

After the plenary session, we will invite conference participants to separate sections:

    • Trends and Threats in Language and Translations Studies (I);
    • Trends and Threats in Language and Translations Studies (II);
    • Social Work in the Context of a Changing Society;
    • Interpretation of Critical Thinking in Art and Literature;
    • Inclusivity, Diversity and Design;
    • Challenges of Pre- and Primary School Education (I);
    • Challenges of Pre- and Primary School Education (II).
