The artwork of photographer Žilvinas Glušinskas, lecturer of the Photography study programme of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kaunas Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) is presented at the exhibition organised by the Japan Pinhole Photography Society.

Japan Pinhole Photography Society is an organisation whose purpose is to promote interest in pinhole photography, to encourage members of the organisation to exchange ideas and experiences and to actively present their work in the field of photography.

Ž. Glušinskas is one of the masters and popularizers of pinhole photography not only in Lithuania but also in foreign countries. The works of the photographer were exhibited in Galanta (2016), Bratislava (2017), Kyiv (2018), Gdansk (2018). The lecturer has been a member of the Japan Pinhole Photography Society since 2016.

The pinhole photography technique is interesting in that the variety of images created is not limited by the simplicity of the tool, on the contrary, pinhole photographs are characterised by a unique artistic resolution: from mysterious, shadowy landscapes to rhythmic urban architectural structures, from romantic portraits to dramatic full-figure compositions, from minimalistic aesthetic environmental reflections to rich, many images full of shapes and textures.
