The Faculty of Business responded to the call of the Research Council of Lithuania to receive support for Lithuanian research and study institutions employing researchers from Ukraine and submitted three applications to colleagues from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University to finance the activities of research workers and received a positive response from the Research Council of Lithuania.

From the first of September, scientific activities will be carried out at the Faculty of Business of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI) by colleagues from Ukraine: Yuliia Prus, Olena Parkhomenko and Yuliia Kvitka, who will conduct research and analyse their results in the areas of Management/Economics, collaborate with scientists from the faculty and other foreign countries, and publish research results.

“We are happy that starting from September, the ranks of researchers at the Faculty of Business will be supplemented by three colleagues from Ukraine, whose admission was funded by the Research Council of Lithuania. The partnership with this university has been going on for several years and has given excellent results and allowed us to contribute to helping Ukraine in this difficult period,” says Gelmina Motiejūnė, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business.

Anticipated activities of researchers at Kauno kolegija HEI:

    • Olena Parkhomenko. In the expected period, the results of scientific research activities in the fields of Management/Economic science will be published in scientific journals in international databases: “Promoting sustainable development as a factor that shapes well-being at the local level” (in the IF CA JCR and/or SNIP SCOPUS database with a citation index) and “Influence of social values on final consumption”.
    • Yuliia Kvitka. In the expected period, the results of scientific research activities in the fields of Management/Economics will be published in scientific journals in international databases: “The impact of the war on the internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education” (with a citation index in the IF CA JCR and/or SNIP SCOPUS database) and “Conflicts in the organisation: how mediation can influence the development of the organisation?”.
    • Yuliia Prus. In the expected period, the results of scientific research activities in the fields of Management / Economics will be published in scientific journals in international databases: “Digital technologies in logistics and supply chain management” (with a citation index in the IF CA JCR and (or) SNIP SCOPUS database) and “Ukrainian refugee crisis: challenges and opportunities for the development of higher education institutions”.
