On 12 October, there was an afternoon dedicated to the meeting of new employees. While feasting on various delicacies, the employees talked about the culture and values of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI), discussed the essence of teamwork and the importance of each team member. During the afternoon, it was discussed what expectations the new employees came to this organisation with, and the older employees shared what keeps them loyal, motivated and feeling a sense of community.
“Each employee’s experience, competences, new ideas and enthusiasm are a valuable contribution to our community and significantly contribute to the achievement of the set goals. We want the new employees of Kauno kolegija HEI to integrate into our organisation as easily and quickly as possible, so that they are empowered to create and grow by feeling support and community. I think that the initiative to organise cosy welcomes for new employees will serve to achieve these goals,” says the Deputy Director for Organisational Development Dr Inga Stravinskienė.
Similar afternoons for new employees are planned to continue, thus fostering a culture of learning, growth and inclusion.
