June 19-21  Milda Gintilienė, head of the Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Medicine and Dr D. Baltaduonienė (Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution), were warmly accepted  by the community of the University of Health Sciences (Turkey) in its academic environment under the Erasmus+ programme.

During the stay, the lecturers shared their scientific and practical experience with the students of the university’s physiotherapy and occupational therapy study programmes, and discussed further opportunities for communication and cooperation with the university. In both institutions, one of the important areas of activity is internationality. Therefore, during the visit, theoretical and practical aspects of the subject “Physiotherapy in water” taught by professor Hulya Yycel from the Turkey were discussed, as she will visit Lithuania in the fall semester. The organizational issues of the international student conference organised by the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution and the possibilities of joint projects were also discussed. Thanks to the close cooperation of the Department of Rehabilitation with Istanbul University of Health Sciences Prof. Hulya Yycel, guests from Lithuania also participated in the solemn diploma awarding ceremony.
