Lecturers from Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, Rehabilitation Department, Laura Žlibinaitė and Ligita Šilinė visited Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, Spain under the Erasmus+ programme from 12 till 15 of June 2023.

The lecturers shared their knowledge and practical experience with the physiotherapy students. They also had meeting with the vice-rectorate for internationalisation Alma Vazquez and discussed the possibilities of cooperation and student exchange between Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution and Francisco de Vitoria University.

Francisco de Vitoria University has excellent facilities for studying, research and leisure. Physiotherapy students and lecturers have the opportunity to conduct scientific research together with sports scientists, which broadens the scope of research.

The most important aim of the visit was to meet physiotherapy study programme lecturers and discuss the scientific collaboration opportunities. During the meeting lecturer Manuel Rodriguez Aragon shared several research ideas and it was decided to conduct a joint-study empirical study on the effect of Global Postural Re-Education in patients with hypertension. In this study students from Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution will also be involved. Scientific cooperation between Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution and Francisco de Vitoria University lecturers will improve the internationalisation of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution at the scientific level.
