The students of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to evaluate the quality of each subject/module and of its teaching. The surveys are carried out in the Study Management System.
Students of all faculties expressed their opinions about the quality of study subjects/modules studied in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. They evaluate the quality of the content of the study subject/module and the quality of teaching very positively – their overall evaluation almost reaches 88% (out of 100%).
It is in the best interests of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences to receive feedback from interested parties: students, graduates, employees, employers and other social partners. The active participation of interested parties is highly acknowledged and important because it helps to identify areas that can be improved and ensure the progress and growth in the quality of conducted studies, employee satisfaction rates and etc. This helps us take required measures on time also meet set goals of the interested parties.
Surveys provided in 2021-2022 academic year feedback plan for interested parties aims to assess the employee satisfaction on work environment; the need of events for competence development; evaluate how graduates integrate into the job market and if the subjects studied are relevant to the job a graduate is working; figure out the opinions of employers regarding the readiness level of students in traineeships; revise the demand of offered study programmes with future employers also assess the relevance of material provided; evaluate students opinions about taught subjects/modules the manner and quality in which they are delivered, expectations students may have and etc. Most of the surveys are continuous and, conducted annually.
To encourage students to actively participate in surveys all community members can visit the webpage of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences where they can find a section under the name of “You said, we did!” where information is stored about the feedback of students and also how the University reacted to statements and what was done to fulfill them.
