Modern stress management techniques 3 Spring Rasa Vaitkienė Students will be able to recognize symptoms caused by stress and apply various stress management techniques: mindfulness, nature therapy atc.

Students will learn different stress management techniques and be able to apply them in various crisis situations. One of the main goals of the module is to increase psychological resilience and protect against burnout syndrome.

Professional language (English) 3 Autumn Violeta Kamantauskienė While studying the course, students learn to use professional terms in the foreign language and use the information sources necessary for the specialty, i.e. dictionaries, reference books, encyclopaedias, Internet websites, databases. They also develop professional language reading, listening, writing, speaking and translation skills.
Professional Internship of Emergency Medical Care 15 Autumn Vilma Rastenienė Students will  carry out Emergency Care actions and procedures in real practical situations: will analyse and systemize data of scientific literature, provide practical quidelines for the work, follow the regulating documents in the practice, will analyse and systemize changes of vital needs in acute conditions, perform first aid and intensive care actions in all level human health care institutions, provide support in acute conditions, will communicate with patients, their family members, other health care personnel, work in a team of health care specialists. Students independently initiate life-preserving immediate measures and to apply them in acute conditions, crises and disasters.
