The course is designed for undergraduate students who study full time or come on exchange programmes to the Faculty of Business. Exchange students have to choose 24 ECTS in core subjects and free electives according to the needs of their study plans.

6 50% – Mid-semester tests; 50% – Case analysis (project) During the studies of the subject of international law, students will examine the aims, purpose, sources, institutes and norms of international law and, in accordance with the law, examine and analyze the essence of international law, the main features and principles of international public law, major international organizations, their structure and functions, international legal acts regulating international public and private legal relations, peculiarities of diplomatic and consular law and will be able to properly apply the acquired knowledge of public international law in practice, determining the place of international law in the national legal system. 6 50% – Mid-semester tests; 50% – Case analysis (project) To provide the necessary knowledge on regulatory and application practices in the field of institutional and material law of the European Union, focusing on the European Union’s policies on freedom, security and justice. To this end, after analysing the development of the EU, its fundamental objectives, its institutional structure, its functions and activities, the focus is on the general themes of EU law that the practitioner can meet most often: the historical development of EU integration, the principles of EU law, the peculiarities of the EU legal system and Peculiarities of the functioning of EU law in national law, legal remedies provided by EU law, mechanisms of functioning of the European Union fundamental freedoms, problems of European Union law and harmonization of national law, European Union cooperation in foreign and security policy, Principles and procedures of police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters , an analysis of the information, control and management systems used in this activity. During theoretical lectures and practical workshops, students will develop appropriate skills in EU legislation, national legislation and other legal instruments and special measures to make decisions and appropriately formalize them, and to acquire theoretical knowledge in practical activities. The student must be able to identify sources of EU law, the relationship between this jurisdiction and national law, to analyse EU and national case law. EU history, citizenship;

3 50% – Mid-semester tests; 50% – Case analysis The aim of the subject is to connect the knowledge of the science of philosophy with the achievements of the science of law, emphasizing the importance of philosophy for the practical activities of a lawyer.
 Students will understand the interaction and significance of philosophy and law in the professional activities of a lawyer, will be able to interpret the ideas of the principles of justice and reasonableness by analyzing practical / problematic situations of professional activity. Will know the need for „common sense“ to make autonomous and correct decisions.

The course discus changes in relevant legal science, globalization of business and legal environment (integrating articulation at the international, EU and national levels), to find and propose concrete solutions to complex international business situations, taking into account the latest theories of legal science and the requirements of professional legal ethics. 3 50% – Mid-semester tests; 50% – Case analysis (project) International Labour law is the subject is meant to provide deeper understanding of the essence and meaning of the international labour law, to analyse and assess the relations regulated by labour law, and distinguish them from other legal relations. Students will analyse general features of foreign countries’ labour law, it’s main sources, the basis and procedure for the origin, change and ending of the employment legal relations, ways for the solution of collective and individual labour disputes, peculiarities of regulating working and rest time, disciplinary and material responsibility, and supervision and control of the adherence to the labour laws. Further to the provisions of the Labour Code of the Republic of Lithuania as well as other legal acts the students will engage in solving problematic situations, analyse the problems associated with the application of national labour laws as well as similarities and differences with other foreign countries. Regulation of individual labour relations in foreign countries: types of employment contracts; contents; procedures of concluding and termination of employment contracts; conditions of prohibition of competition; work and rest time;
Regulation of collective labour relations in foreign countries: collective agreement; employee right to take part in the control of a company; collective labour disputes;
Origin and development of European Union labour law. Key features of European Union labour law;

Lectures are associated with the development of a lawyer’s personality, practice of eloquence, self-criticism of information assessment of formal and speaking skills. Public speech, parts of speech. The aim of the study subject is clear out the concept of marketing and marketing planning. After the completion of the subject students will be familiar with the principles of consumer behaviour, would know the marketing planning process, the key concepts of customer-oriented marketing. They would know how to make a segmentation and to find out the target audience of the market also they would be able to adapt marketing mix decisions in marketing planning.
