[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Earlier this year, a remote collaboration was started with an occupational therapist asst. prof. Ph.D. Christina Athanasopoulou, a lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of West Attica. Finally, on April 13 -15, Milda Gintilienė, Head of the Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Medicine, visited West Attica University in Athens (Greece) under the Erasmus exchange program together with lecturers Aiste Pranckaityte-Bilevičienė and Evelina Lamsodiene.

There was also an opportunity to visit the Mental Health Center of Peristeri, where the occupational therapist Evanggelia Arvanitidou shared the peculiarities of her work and her experience while working with people with mental illness.

At the university, lecturers from Kaunas University of Applied Sciences read presentations, shared experiences, and answered questions asked by students. The warm reception and the attention of the teachers and students only strengthened the cooperation.

The vision of further cooperation was discussed: writing of joint final theses, participation in BIP (Blended Intensive Program) projects, and meeting at the conference HESDIA organized by the Faculty of Medicine.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
