Among the 2024 winners is Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI), which received an award for organising the most mobility of students with fewer opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2018The Erasmus+ programme aims to involve all <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">members of the academic community<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in internationalisation activities and academic mobility.<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A very important<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> focus of the programme is additional financial support for students who, for various reasons, have fewer opportunities to participate in academic mobility activities. At the Kauno kolegija HEI, we aim to provide all students with equal opportunities, so this programme support is <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">very useful<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for our students,\u2019 shares Povilas Beseckas, Head of the International Relations Unit of Kauno kolegija HEI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">He notes that being recognised by the Educational Exchange Support Foundation with a special award for organising the most mobility of students with fewer opportunities is a clear sign that attention to the needs of all students is <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">important<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and contributes to a <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">common<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> inclusive European higher education area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After the commission evaluates and selects the highest quality Erasmus+ projects, their implementers will <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">be awarded<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> prizes \u2013 a Quality Competition statuette and a video report specially dedicated to the institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u2018This competition is not only a time for awards and evaluations but also a great opportunity to celebrate the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">efforts of the education community<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to achieve the highest standards.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> We are pleased to be able to promote innovation and inclusion, which contribute to the sustainable and progressive growth of the education sector. We congratulate the winners, whose work has <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">become an inspiration to<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> others, and thank everyone who contributes to these significant achievements,\u2019 says Daiva \u0160utinyt\u0117, Director of the Education Exchanges Support Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Quality Competition awards <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are presented<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Alytus Nursery School \u201cVolung\u0117l\u0117\u201d is awarded for promoting the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">priority<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> \u201cEnvironment and Climate Change\u201d and implementing the thematic project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Panev\u0117\u017eys University of the Third Age <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is awarded<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for strengthening the priority \u201cInclusion and Diversity\u201d and implementing the thematic project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An additional award for a project that meets the priority \u201cInclusion and Diversity\u201d is given to \u0160iauliai \u201cRomuva\u201d Progymnasium.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Education Exchanges Support Foundation also awards three special awards:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kauno kolegija HEI for organising the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">largest<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> number of<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> mobility opportunities for students with fewer opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Gymnasium for organising the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">largest<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> number of student mobility events.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Marijampol\u0117 Vocational Training Centre for promoting the mobility of students with fewer opportunities in the vocational training sector.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Prepared according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/smpf.lrv.lt\/lt\/naujienos\/skelbiame-kokybes-konkurso-2024-nugaletojus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Education Exchanges Support Foundation information<\/a> (in Lithuanian)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the eighteenth time, the Quality Competition organised by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation was attended by educational institutions from all fields, whose project applications submitted to the competition reflected one, and sometimes even several, priorities of the Erasmus+ programme: inclusion and diversity, digitalisation, combating climate change, or active participation.
