<\/a>Ida Daiva Povilait\u0117, lecturer at the Academy of Arts of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (HEI), shared her professional knowledge at a remote seminar on the topic \u201cExploring Cultural Heritage\u201d organised by Istanbul Ayd\u012bn University, Turkey.<\/p>\nAt the seminar, the lecturer, together with other representatives from Pakistan, Germany, Romania and India, Samar Majid (Lahore University of Education), Michal Gula (INGOS 3D), Kai Christmann (Liquid Television) and Pratishtha Mukherjee (Rishihood University), explored interdisciplinary perspectives of archaeology, creative writing, digital media and 3D technologies to deepen the understanding of cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
I. D. Povilait\u0117 raised the question \u2013 how to protect cultural heritage? \u2018For some countries, the greatest danger to culture is posed by natural elements, and for Lithuania \u2013 by Russian terrorism. I spoke about the value of intangible heritage \u2013 storytelling, giving an example of how the Russians (quite successfully) destroyed our memory during the occupation and how difficult it was to restore it after regaining freedom,\u2019 the lecturer shared her insights.<\/p>\n
