\u2018Kauno kolegija HEI pays a lot of attention to various activities to strengthen internationality, but no less important are the connections in the Lithuanian higher education sector, pooling available capacities. We are strengthening and developing cooperation with Klaip\u0117dos kolegija HEI regarding the preparation and implementation of joint projects, pooling of human resources, and effective use of infrastructure in the fields of study and science that are common to both higher education institutions,\u2019 says Kauno kolegija HEI Vice Director for Organisational Development Dr Inga Stravinskien\u0117.<\/p>\n
According to Egl\u0117 Aleknait\u0117, Coordinator of the Conservation and restoration of art works study programme at the Faculty of Arts and Education, the aim of developing cooperation is to create conditions for students of this study programme to improve their practical skills and raise their qualifications at the Conservation and Restoration Centre of the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology of Klaip\u0117da University.<\/p>\n
\u2018We plan to initiate projects for the management of movable cultural heritage, prepare joint scientific publications and in the future create databases of cultural heritage sources. We will pay special attention to the professional skills of restorers of cultural values, the dissemination of professional knowledge and the conduct of conservation, restoration and preventive conservation research.
