Gabriel\u0117 Poci\u016bt\u0117, a first-year student of the Image Design study programme at the Academy of Arts, assisted makeup artists in preparing the presentation of the Spring\/Summer 2025 collection by Juozas Statkevi\u010dius, the most famous Lithuanian theater costume designer and fashion designer, who graduated from the Fashion Design studies at the Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution\u00a0 (HEI).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018For the first time in my life, I had to attend a J. Statkevi\u010dius fashion event and assist the makeup artists backstage. When I received this offer, there was no other answer than \u201cI will participate!\u201d. I watched all the preparations for the show. Although the show itself lasted only an hour, an incredible amount of attention was paid to that one hour \u2013 from preparing the stage to dressing the models. Every detail was an important part of the show. I got to see J. Statkevi\u010dius himself and famous makeup artists,\u2019 shares G. Poci\u016bt\u0117.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Violeta Dobrovolskien\u0117, lecturer in the Image Design study programme, contributing to a fashion show by the country’s most famous designer, which is of interest to the entire fashion world and society, is a prestigious opportunity, therefore she is pleased with the student’s courage to participate in a large-scale event and gain extremely valuable professional experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
