On 4\u20135 October P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia for the third time held the Massage Championship of the Nordic Countries, which was organised in cooperation with the International Massage Association.<\/p>\n

Dr Vaida Borkertien\u0117, lecturer of the Rehabilitation department (Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution), was invited to take part in the event as a jury. Together with other jury members from Denmark, Tartu, Latvia and Hungary Dr V. Borkertien\u0117 evaluated participants in the classical massage discipline and the freestyle massage programme.<\/p>\n

According to regulations, the championship was held for two days. On the first day, students demonstrated their skills and knowledge, on the second day \u2013 professional masseurs. On both days of the event, the participants competed in the classical massage discipline and the freestyle massage programme.<\/p>\n

Germant\u0117 \u0160utinyt\u0117, a second-year Physiotherapy student, participated in the Third Massage Championship of the Nordic Countries and received an award from the GMT BEAUTY professional cosmetics manufactured in Latvia.<\/p>\n
