{"id":3410,"date":"2021-04-26T12:30:52","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T14:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kaunokolegija.lt\/en\/?p=3410"},"modified":"2021-04-26T15:33:12","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T17:33:12","slug":"the-innovative-idea-of-kaunas-university-of-applied-sciences-students-triumphed-in-the-hackathon-of-future-creators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kaunokolegija.lt\/en\/the-innovative-idea-of-kaunas-university-of-applied-sciences-students-triumphed-in-the-hackathon-of-future-creators\/","title":{"rendered":"The innovative idea of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences students triumphed in the hackathon of future creators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-17368 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kaunokolegija.lt\/kk_wp_content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/04\/Be-pavadinimo.jpg?resize=358%2C478&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"358\" height=\"478\" \/>In the remote hackathon \u201cLet&#8217;s Co-create Our Future Together\u201d at \u201cGovTech Lab Lithuania\u201d, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences student team \u201cGreenHeads\u201d created a waste sorting innovation &#8211; a mobile app called \u201cCursus\u201d, which helps everyone get closer to a more sustainable life, leading them to great results and being one of the winners.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGreenHeads\u201d team consisted of students from the Faculty of Business \u2013 Migl\u0117 Daunorait\u0117, Viktorija U\u017emi\u0161kyt\u0117 and Edvinas Laurik\u0117nas and student from the Faculty of Arts and Education Vilma Bagdonavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117.<\/p>\n<p>After being on the list of winners, the team of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences won a valuable cash prize worth EUR 1,000, and an opportunity to participate in \u201cGovTech Accelerator\u201d and \u201cLitBAN Pitch\u201d events, as well as consultations on strategy implementation and innovation development.<\/p>\n<p>Hackathon is organized to find innovative solutions that could ensure rapid and high-quality recovery after the pandemic, improve the functioning of the state and improve public life.
