Ecology of people\u2018s minds, bodies, nature, city \u2013 this was the message that the participants of the \u201cGossips 2019\u201d sent to the audience expressively and responsibly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beginning creators from five countries (Czech Republic, Latvia, Portugal, Turkey and Lithuania) presented eighteen collections. According to Greta Rak\u0161yt\u0117, one of the authors of joint collection \u201cSecundus Gradus\u201d, the \u201cGossips\u201d grew up and became a well-known event, which means that the ideas and fashion have to be dictated responsibly. The event organized by artists of Kaunas has raised many generations throughout 21 years of its existence.<\/p>\n

Collections reflected life and urbanism<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the water.<\/strong> Vania Filipa Verissimo Mateus from Portugal has introduced her collection \u201cSeahorse Concept\u201d. The designer chose Lithuania to spread the news about water pollution: \u201cBoth of our countries have the seaside. My aim is to make people think of the severe pollution problem. I send this message via forms of fashion emphasizing the soon-to-be extinct seahorse.\u201d Sea theme was also chosen by Anna Zv\u011bd\u011blikov\u00e1 from the Czech Republic. The author encouraged to save human\u2018s life by presenting a collection for men \u201cHandle with Care\u201d that was inspired by safety signs used on sea containers.<\/p>\n

In town. <\/strong>The ideas of sustainability and responsible consumption were found not only in water, but also on the ground. \u201cWe were inspired by architecture in Istanbul and our Turkish colleagues were inspired by Lithuanian city buildings\u201d, said G. Rak\u0161yt\u0117. The joint collection \u201cSecundus Gradus\u201d depicted stained glass of mosques and towers of skyscrapers visible from two continents. The joint collection of Turkish creators \u201cHand by Hand\u201d used the details of Trakai architecture. The audience was pleasantly surprised by the collection \u201cKaunas 22\u201d by Jonas Jak\u0161tas, as it included images of St. Michael the Archangel\u2019s Church, Pa\u017eaislis Monastery, House of Perk\u016bnas and other buildings of Kaunas.<\/p>\n

In human and nature.<\/strong> The collections \u201cFlashlight\u201d ( by Paul\u0117 Moz\u016braityt\u0117), \u201cGame\u201d ( by Karolina Ga\u0161\u010diauskait\u0117), \u201cFantasyland\u201d (by Migl\u0117 \u017dvirblyt\u0117), \u201cInner Fear\u201d (by Karolina Keme\u017eait\u0117), \u201cTropicana\u201d (by Laura \u017dilinskait\u0117), \u201cPoint TO I\u201d (by Inese Dembovska, Latvia), \u201cDysmorphia\u201d (by Viktorija Skorupskait\u0117), \u201cNude Garden\u201d (by R\u016bta Kriau\u010di\u016bnait\u0117), \u201cArtprotis\u201d (by Adam Zapletal, Czech Republic), joint collection of Lithuanians \u201cNe(On)\u201d, \u201cAnba\u201d (by Alma Kackane, Latvia), and \u201c(Im)perfect\u201d (by Aist\u0117 \u010cerniauskait\u0117) represented the fragility of flora and fauna that surrounds us.
