During the visit, he carried out a research internship, the purpose of which was to exchange knowledge about the inclusion of people with disabilities and collect data for research. The main supervisor of the research internship was Dr Salom\u0117ja Karasevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work. During the visit cooperation opportunities were also discussed, a partnership was initiated with the Polish Association of Sociologists, and project activities in the field of joint research were discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the same time Santa Melke, Chair of the Social Work Study Programme Committee, and Professor Dr Dina Bethere, guests from the RTU Liepaja Academy (Latvia) visited the Faculty of Arts and Education. The purpose of the visit was to discuss, together with the lecturers of the Department of Social Work, the preparation of the application, the division of responsibilities and future activities of the planned international applied science project \u2018WellAge+: Innovative Approaches to Enhance Senior Wellbeing\u2019.
