Important information for foreigners regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) (Ministry of Foreign Affairs)<\/a><\/p>\n

Students arriving for traineeships must contact the\u00a0International Coordinator<\/a>\u00a0not later than 2 days before their predicted date of arrival and double-check the conditions and training possibilities.<\/p>\n

After arriving to Lithuania, students (arriving from highly affected countries) will be met at the airport or station by the ESN KK mentor and will be brought directly to the self-isolation place with our transportation.<\/p>\n

Students are given the keys on the day of their arrival.<\/p>\n

Students who must self-isolate will have to stay in our dormitory and follow all the self-isolation rules. Students who must self-isolate will be provided with rooms with individual entrance, sanitary equipment and kitchen. Students who arrive on the same day might be self-isolated in the same room.<\/p>\n

If student is not willing to self-isolate in our dormitory, this period might be spent in a hotel which provides such services (e. g. Metropolis, Europa Royale). Our institution cannot assure hotels providing self-isolation services will have sufficient places for all the people willing to stay there.<\/p>\n

Tap water is safe to drink in Lithuania.<\/p>\n

During the self-isolation period, students will be provided with one meal per day free of charge. Please inform you mentor if you have special meal requirements.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”ORGANIZATION OF STUDIES” tab_id=”1611771617101-34feafac-1eae”][vc_column_text]As of 1 July 2021, Lithuania is entering the state of national emergency. Please follow the schedules and information received by e-mail.<\/span><\/p>\n

Studies are organized in a non-remote manner. If necessary, part of the study sessions will be conducted remotely. Decisions on the organization of studies in a remote or non-remote manner are made by the responsible employees of the departments of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (KUAS).<\/span><\/p>\n

In accordance with the study procedure of KUAS, study schedules will be published no later than one week before the beginning of the semester. <\/span>The information provided in the study schedules does not change – the name of the study subject, students’ academic group, contact work time, duration, place and lecturer will be indicated. Schedules will be published in the \u201c<\/span>Moodle<\/span><\/a>\u201d virtual learning environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that if the epidemiological situation deteriorates and the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania change, changes in the organization of studies are possible.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”CONSULTING” tab_id=”1606722216271-7728f7db-6ce3″][vc_column_text]International Relations Services, International Coordinators and Study Departments consult students only remotely.
\nContacts<\/em><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”LEISURE TIME AND MENTORING” tab_id=”1606722216569-f80e3cc3-6dc1″][vc_column_text]Mentors communicate remotely with students in self-isolation. Other communication methods can be chosen with students who are not self-isolating.
