International students of Kauno kolegija have been here for only a few weeks and are still getting used to Lithuania and Lithuanians. One of the best integration ways is travelling, so on the 14th to 15th of September the students went on a trip to the sea side. This trip has already become a tradition, as it is organized every semester for new incoming students.

During the trip, the students had a great chance to get to know each other better, try cepelinai, and, of course, see the spectacular views of the Baltic Sea coast. Students visited peaceful and marvellous Preila beach, saw the forest devastated by cormorants, had a walk in Nida, enjoyed the panoramic view from the top of Parnidis Dune, listened to magical legends about Jūratė and Kastytis, Eglė the Queen of Serpents and others on the Hill of The Witches in Juodkrantė. After the night in Klaipėda, students had a walk in the old town and the port of the city. Finally, they visited the Amber Museum and Birutė Hill in Palanga, had some free time to enjoy the autumn fair, folk dances and a walk down the avenue and the bridge.

On the first day of the trip, the students were interviewed about their choice to study in Lithuania, in Kauno kolegija, what they like here and what they could suggest to the students who have doubts about studying abroad. See their emotions and the bits of the trip in the video and photos below:
