Project “Villages on move Baltic”: results of meeting in Latvia

received_10211605991937237On 10-11 of April, doc., dr. Viktorija Piščalkienė and Chief of Rehabilitation department Milda Gintilienė, representatives of Kauno kolegija/University of Applied sciences, attended meeting of project „Villages on move Baltic“ which was organized by Latvian Rural Forum.

The project meeting was also attended by the representatives of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk), Southern Savo Sports Federation (ESLi in Finnish), Lääne-Viru College (Estonia), Latvian Rural Forum (LRF), Lillebaelt University of Applied Sciences (Denmark).
During the meeting, the project’s plans were presented and discussed the project organizational and methodological issues, partnership, main activities and time plan. Considerable attention was devoted to the discussion “Ideas competition”. In this activity participants from 5 countries will create an interactive physical activity map. It is planned to place almost 4000 links of various cultural – sporting activities for various social groups and ages.

All the project participants are currently gathering physical activity ideas, developing the interactive map and preparing methodology for an international research, which will help to determine the motivational factors of physical activity.
